La Confederación de Universidades de Bolivia (CUB) ratificó su exigencia al Gobierno de un incremento del 20 por ciento en la subvención ordinaria anual del Tesoro General de la Nacional para las universidades del sistema estatal.
Ante una posible negativa del Gobierno a este incremento, la CUB, reunida en Cobija, también acordó conformar un comité de movilizaciones para que coordine las medidas de presión que se adoptarán a nivel nacional a partir de fin de mes.
El rector de la Universidad Autónoma Juan Misael Saracho (Uajms), Marcelo Hoyos, informó en pasados días, el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas les dio a conocer que sólo habrá un incremento del uno por ciento. “Eso es mínimo y las universidades no lo aceptamos”, precisó Hoyos.
